About the Instructor, Danny Iny
Danny is the founder of Mirasee, and the bestselling author of multiple books including Engagement from Scratch!, The Audience Revolution, and Teach and Grow Rich. He is also the creator of the acclaimed Audience Business Masterclass and Course Builder’s Laboratory training programs, which have together graduated more than 5,000 value-driven online entrepreneurs.
All of this grew out of humble beginnings; he started out just like most online entrepreneurs, with an idea and message to share, and no idea how to do it. He made several wrong turns – which he calls “plot twists” in the Audience Revolution – before really understanding the Audience First paradigm, and how to apply it to online business.
And when he did, it was like lighting a match to a fuse. Back in 2011, he started Firepole Marketing with less than nothing; he had no traffic, no subscribers, no relationships with any influencers in the industry, and over a quarter million dollars in personal debt, left over from his last failed startup.
In just a few short years, he’s transformed Firepole Marketing into Mirasee, grown the business to multiple-seven figures in revenue and a team of 30+ people spread all over the world (including his talented wife) on a mission to support very special global community of 50,000+ loyal and inspired entrepreneurs.
Danny has maintained a passionate commitment to learning and transparency, freely sharing lessons learned from great successes, major challenges, and even his personal life to support the online entrepreneurial community as a teacher, speaker, angel investor, and advisor to many of the top leaders in our industry, who have Danny on speed-dial when they need help with their business or strategy.

Here are the answers to the most common questions we’ve been asked about the Bootcamp.
Q: What if I’m in a unique niche or want to teach an unusual topic?
A: The principles of course creation, education, and marketing that we teach in the Course Builder’s Bootcamp apply in any niche. You’ll learn how to choose a course topic and market that has enough interested buyers to build a sustainable business around, regardless of how unique or unusual your specialist knowledge is.
Q: Can I talk to someone if I get stuck?
A: Absolutely! We’ll have a live wrap-up call at the end of the Bootcamp, during which you can ask any and all Bootcamp-related questions to get direct, personalized answers and advice.
Q: Why are there deadlines to complete each module?
A: We do it this way to help you study more productively and learn better. The Course Builder’s Bootcamp is delivered according to the principle of cohort-based progression, based on research by Dr. Barbara Oakley and other educational psychologists. Everyone has to complete each homework assignment by the deadline to move forward to the next module — and if you miss a deadline, you forfeit your place in the group. But don’t worry! If you lose your place in the current group, you’ll be able to start over with the *next* group when they begin the Bootcamp.
Q: What if I can’t watch a video module within the time allowed?
A: Then you won’t be able to complete the homework for that module — and if you miss the deadline, you’ll lose access to the Bootcamp training materials. But if that happens, you can restart the Bootcamp another week when your schedule is clearer.
Q: Can I just skip everything and jump right into the Friday Q&A?
A: No. Leading up to the live office hour chat session on Friday are homework assignments that prepare you for this call. In the modules, we cover how to set up your pilot, different methods to enroll students, and how to ensure you’re building a course that gets results from your students. If you jump the line, you may find yourself completely behind and using up the limited time you have with a professional course-building coach on questions that we’ve already covered.
Here’s the schedule for the Course Builder’s Bootcamp.
Module 1:
Preparation, Research & Validation
- What it *really* takes to become a successful (and profitable!) builder of online courses
- How to identify topics based on your expert knowledge, that you could offer in an online course
- How to make sure the topic you choose is something students will pay you to teach them
- By the end of this lesson, you’ll understand what you need to change in your business and what topic to focus on to make your online course-building ambitions a reality.
Module 2:
Online Course Marketing
- The truth about marketing an online course – and the key opportunities for course creators in 2018
- How to determine your best course marketing strategy so that your ideal students are pleased to hear about it
- Why it makes sense to sell your course *before* you build it, and why your paying students will gladly help you with the course creation process!
- By the end of this lesson, you’ll be able to follow our proven course marketing and sales framework to get paying students excited and eager to enroll in your course.
Module 3:
Course Creation, Delivery & Success
- How to design and build your course quickly and painlessly, without content problems or technology issues
- What really matters in an online course, and what you can safely ignore – or defer until after you’ve launched the first version of your course.
- How to help your students get the best possible outcomes so that they not only complete your course, but spread the word and send new students your way
- By the end of this lesson, you’ll know how to “co-create” and deliver a course that’s education-rich, well supported, and set for bottom line success.
Wrap-Up:
Live Q&A Session on Friday
- We’ll get together live online so that you can ask any questions you might have about everything you’ve learned in the Bootcamp, get answers and advice, and start choosing your next steps.
There’s a lot packed into this Bootcamp. It’s designed to teach you valuable skills quickly, but don’t feel overwhelmed – we’re going to walk you through this one thing at a time.
Attend our live office hour chat session on Friday, where our Mirasee-trained course-building coaches will answer questions from our group of awesome bootcamp students. Sample questions we’ll cover:
What is the metric of a successful course?
What is the time commitment for building a course?
When you float your idea, how many details do you reveal?
If I build a second course, will I still have access to my coach?
I’m already an expert, what does Course Builder’s Laboratory help with?
What other expenses are there when building a course, like hosting and email?
Will this work if people are familiar with the IKEA research?
Should I allow people to join after my course has started?
What if my client base is on a limited income?
How do you know what to charge?
How do I compete with marketplaces like Udemy?
If I have ideas for multiple courses, which should I choose?
